Darker Days 2018 teaserDARKER DAYS returns to brighten the dark days of winter in Bright on Saturday 30th June 2018 and Andys Trails is loading up the bus and headed on the road trip of a lifetime – are you joining us?

DARKER DAYS is a dark beer and mid-winter festival that brings together High Country producers and operators, entertainers, beer lovers and families to toast the season and welcome the return of lighter days following the Winter Solstice.

DARKER DAYS is a showcase of local produce and activities that celebrate winter in Victoria’s Alpine valleys. This family friendly and community-minded festival is centered around locally produced dark beers and warming foods, along with live music and winter activities.

After the sun sets, Bright Brewery’s riverside lands will truly come alive with a spectacular ceremonial burning of a giant wooden structure in the shape of Bright Brewery’s logo.

There is also local entertainers, musicians, and restaurants involved in the family friendly festival. Plus the day sees the launch of Bright’s Stubborn Russian Imperial Stout and will see the return of another limited release: Black Diamond India Black Ale.

The festival runs from 12pm – 9pm at 123 Great Alpine Road, Bright (aka Bright Brewery’s vacant block), with entry a gold coin donation for the local CFA.

Come gather around the fires to make damper and to roast marshmallows and chestnuts. Hear campfire tales and maybe even a ghost story or two.
