The Bellarine Peninsula is the fastest growing produce region in Victoria – come with us and find out why.
This all-inclusive trip is the definitive way to showcase the world-class wineries, gin distilleries & cideries on the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula. Relax and enjoy the tour, with the whole experience taken care of by one of our knowledgeable local hosts and drivers.
If you are coming from Melbourne, Port Phillip Ferries will bring you from Docklands in Melbourne to Portarlington where we can pick you up. Coming from the other side of the bay? Searoad Ferries can bring you via Queenscliff. Sail to the trail – it’s all part of the fun.
These are just some of the places we like to visit on this tour. You won’t go thirsty on The Bellarine.
Stop 1 We start the tour with a visit to the dangerously delicious Flying Brick Cider Co. Enjoy a paddle of ciders made from crispy Victorian apples and succulent Packham pears.
Stop 2We visit The Whiskery which is the cellar door for the Bellarine Distillery. You’ll get to sample 4 award-winning gins in their lush fairytale garden, sitting by the fireplace or under the trees on a sunny day, where you can watch staff pottering around for cocktail ingredients.
Stop 3 To finish, you’ll get to sample a selection of local wines with a hosted tasting session at one of the Bellarine’s top vineyards. Scotchmans Hill is rated among James Halliday’s Top 100 Australian Wineries, Terindah Estate is one of the Bellarine’s most picturesque locations with bay views, Bennetts on Bellarine is a leading hand-crafted wine-maker and Yes Said the Seal has one of Australia’s best pinot noirs and was winner of the Australian Pinot Noir Challenge 2018.
All good things must come to an end. After a big day exploring the Bellarine Taste Trail, our tour concludes and we drop you back at your home or accommodation.
Set beside a rustic 100-year-old dairy on the corner of Macadams Lane, this charming family-run vineyard offers old-fashioned hospitality. Sit under the sugar gums, sip wine from a broad tasting menu and enjoy the panoramic view.
The Whiskery is making award-winning gins amongst a picturesque seven acres in the heart of the Bellarine. Visitors can experience a unique setting, friendly staff, and the best gin on this side of the bay! They will also have their own whisky available soon, depending upon maturation.
Established in 1982, Scotchmans Hill is located in the heart of the Bellarine Peninsula. A producer of premium cool maritime climate wines, Scotchmans Hill has been a leading local winery for over thirty years and is rated among James Halliday’s Top 100 Australian Wineries. Bellarine Peninsula grown labels include Cornelius, Scotchmans Hill, and Swan Bay.
The Flying Brick Cider House is a retro-inspired landmark venue. Think innovative space, a tasting paddle of ciders, amazing food without the ‘fancy,’ the best Bellarine wines around, a solid selection of beer, and live music which traces the roots of rock, soul, rhythm, and blues. All of this is just the beginning of what you’ll expect to find at Flying Brick Cider House.
McGlashan’s is a boutique winery specializing in Chardonnay, Shiraz, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Grigio. Of course, you can visit for wine tasting and sales, but their gourmet tasting platters are what tempt most people to stop and enjoy.
With award-winning premium cool climate wines and a highly acclaimed restaurant serving exquisitely prepared food, the unique and eclectic Oakdene Vineyard property is an experience you shouldn’t miss on the Bellarine Peninsula.
Family-owned winery producing exceptional cool climate wines and craft beers. Enjoy fabulous food made with the freshest local produce while overlooking the vineyard and Port Philip Bay. Relax on their expansive manicured lawns and enjoy a game of giant chess or checkers.
When only a brilliant regional experience will do. Unrivaled panoramic views across the bay. The onsite restaurant, winery, and cellar door ensure the ultimate vineyard encounter. Enjoy sophisticated wines and a stunning seasonal menu.
As you drive down McAdams Lane to the entrance of Terindah Estate, you gain glimpses of the breathtaking views awaiting you. It is the place for anyone interested in visiting a vineyard with award-winning wines, delicious food, and stunning architectural spaces.
Leura Park Estate is a funky, boutique vineyard with a mighty reputation for exceptional cool climate wines and fun. A cellar door experience will delight – enjoy the rustic-chic ambiance or ‘Cirque de Soleil-esque’ POD, whilst feasting on stunning stone-based pizzas, hearty fillet steak sandwiches, al fresco platters, and cheeses, with live music every Sunday.
Please note that venues may change due to availability. Food is available at each venue with time given to experience the menu.
